High Temperature Heating Vacuum Stirring Stainless Steel Reaction Kettle
· Equipment Introduction
The cladding kettle is a physical or chemical reaction vessel which is part of the mixing equipment. The cladding kettle consists of a main structure, power system, rotating parts, dust collection system, spraying system, sensor system and valve system. The main body is mostly jacketed and insulated and is used to control the reaction speed and time inside the equipment. It is widely used in lithium, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide, mining metallurgy, building materials and other industries. It is ideal for corrosion resistant, high temperature, high pressure reactions, pressurized leaching, slurry heating and extraction processes.

· Principle of Operation


The material and liquid are transported through the pipeline to the cladding kettle, where the mixing unit is driven by the power system. The mixing unit can be designed as a single or combined structure according to the requirements of the application, which ensures a homogeneous mixing of the slurry. It can also be equipped with different mixing devices and baffles in the cylinder to increase the mixing speed and mixing effect in order to make the slurry meet the requirements of the process. The jacket and insulation are added. The temperature of the material in the cylinder is controlled by means of cold and hot media in the jacket, thus controlling the reaction speed of the material in the kettle. By changing the internal pressure of the equipment, the reaction speed of the material can be changed and the evaporation and re-flux of the material can be controlled. When the slurry meets the process requirements, it is discharged from the discharge port at the bottom of the kettle body. At the same time, the equipment spray system works to spray and clean the material on the sticky wall of the inner cylinder surface to reduce the burden of manual cleaning.
 

· Design Highlights

 
1 Wide range of application. The cladding kettle can be used as a chemical reactor for low viscosity materials, high viscosity materials, solid materials, liquid materials, gas materials for cladding, sulphidation, nitration, hydrogenation,hydrocarbonation, polymerisation, condensation etc.
2 Diversified forms of mixing. The three-dimensional flow of the material (axial flow, radial flow, tangential flow) is controlled according to the characteristics of the material and the purpose of the reaction. The kettle can be stirred individually or in combination. Separate stirring methods include paddle stirring, anchor stirring, straight-lobe turbine type, etc. Combined agitation methods include anchor agitation and straight-vane turbine agitation. In addition, single-shaft mixing or double-shaft mixing can be used as required.
3 In order to accelerate the material mixing effect, various internal components are installed in the kettle. For example, in order to convert the circumferential flow of the material into an upward and downward axial flow, various forms of baffles (flat baffles, finger baffles, small baffles at the bottom and light liquid baffles, etc.) are set up in the kettle in order to greatly enhance the mixing effect. In order to control the flow pattern, to obtain high velocity vortices and strong circulation, and to intensify the mixing and dispersing process, a cylinder - a guide cylinder - is installed inside the kettle, immediately surrounding the impeller.
4 A wide variety of jackets (hollow jackets, spiral deflector jackets, half pipe jackets, internal jackets) are installed in the  kettle body for the purpose of controlling the heat transfer effect.
5 In order to change the flow conditions of the liquid, reduce vortices, enhance agitation and improve heat transfer efficiency, heat transfer elements are set up in the kettle body. Commonly used are snake tube heat transfer elements and straight tube heat transfer elements.
